Nicki Micheaux
Actor, writer, and director Nicki Micheaux was named Wocstar Media Fellow in 2024. Nicki exemplifies the creative entrepreneur who uses storytelling to take audiences on transformative journeys. Her film, Summer of Violence, highlights a Black woman’s poignant coming-of-age story with depth and resonance. Summer of Violence premiered at film festivals and captivated audiences in theaters nationwide during the summer and fall of 2004. The film is available for streaming and on-demand viewing.
